TrueHillaryBacker wrote:I’m sorry, but as a strong Hillary supporter and longtime TRUE Democrat (like Hillary), I find this website, forum and concept totally ridiculous and even offensive. If any one of you who believe this way is the right approach was really a backer of Hillary and all the great Democratic principles she stood for, you would not be even considering supporting McCain. In fact, it’s insulting to her and the memory of her incredible campaign to think of supporting the candidate she opposes and who seems to oppose equal rights for women.

To say “vote for McCain” so we can destroy the Republicans with Hillary in 2012 after the GOP ruins the country, is like saying we should all become Communists so we can eventually destroy Communism worldwide. It’s simply ludicrous and not thought out well at all.

I too am very disappointed that Hillary did not win the nomination and have a chance to be President this election year. But I would never degrade the memory of this historic run by throwing my support to the Anti-Christ either, just to try to prove a point. No true believer in Hillary or backer of hers would ever think of doing what you propose. This is an absolute insult to all she stands for and will only hurt her chances in the future. Be smarter in your approach and show that you really do believe in Hillary’s true-blue Democratic platform by voting Obama, not McCain’t.

TrueHillaryBacker....you just don't get it. The DNC is the one that must be brought down and come Nov Obama and DNC will go down. IF the DNC had treated Hillary even half way decent none of us would be discussing this. I am not about to allow a party to tell me how to vote when they shove an inexperienced liar in front of me. Trust me if the roles were reversed then it would be again the DNC having to pay for their corruption and the Lady and DNC would go down. When you don't count every vote and you make up the rules as you go, and you only punish a couple out of the 5 states that broke the rules, you are going to have to pay somewhere. I predict Obama will go down and Hillary will rise above this all. THE ONLY ONE that can save the DNC if Obama was out, is Hillary. And she'd clean up that bunch of criminals. The criminals that acted unconstitutionally by NOT counting our votes!

Pelosi and Dean are out!

Go Hillary/McCain 2008

I too , was a strong hillary supporter all the way. and yes, I am mad that she did not get the democratic party's nomination, just like all y'all are!
BUT....... anyone whom even thinks john mc jerk is a " moderate" ?? to them I say wake up sweetie! firstly, go to [link removed] and take just a quick look at how he has voted anti-abortion rights 99% of the time. that and he consults both a**hole " christo-fascist" pastors, john haggee and rod -something; as well as james dobson and that anti-birth control freak senator in oklahoma; for advice!
secondly, he choose the stupidest woman in america , sarah palin ; as his VP. she literally, I read today in [link removed] women's blog ; that she , as mayor of that small town in alaska; literally forced every woman whom was raped to pay for her own DNA tests at the local hospital ! this especially being that many whom do , in fact, are at the biggest risk for being raped, are those whom could least afford the $300-1,500 for those DNA " rape tests" ! [ native american-eskimos being hit the hardest. the very same women whom get raped three times more often!] SARAH PALIN IS DEFINITELY NO FRIEND OF ANY THINKING WOMAN! kim gandy of N.O.W. is 100% right about that!

MC JERK IS FAR FROM BEING A LIBERAL, OR EVEN MODERATE REPUG! he's definitely NOT gov. arnold swartzenegger of california! nor even a gov. M. Jodi Rell of connecticut ! or a michael bloomberg of new york city -mayor! THOSE, ladies! are what they call moderate republicans!
I truly feel that talk show host ms. ellen de generes really did any woman considering mc jerk a favor by having him on her show. right there, she got him to discuss about how he feels about marriage rights for all; something that concerns me as a lesbian woman as to whom I'd pick ; obama vs. mc jerk. [ personally I like ellen and think she's one cute looking boi, but her show with all the celebs bores me to death!] then, at the end, she made a total arse-hole out of his when she said to him, " so will you walk me down the aisle then??? "

at least if you are so mad at obama, the vote for ron paul ! now there is a moderate repubican if there was any! mc jerk is a loser , not any " maverick" like they in the national media make him out to be! and furthermore, for all those so called " patriotic" citizens whom think this guy is " proud veteran of the century" , go and check out this about the FIRE ABOARD THE USS FORESTAL IN 1967. THE ONE WHICH, WAS DELIBERATELY SET OFF BY " HOT SHOT" JOHN MC CAIN! [link removed] yes, there was a very good reason that he was " suddenly transferred" from that ship to safety. his crewmen , perhaps, were ready to beat his brains in right that day?

have fun, girls . and yes, stock up on plenty of those metal coat hangers! because goddess forbid that john mc cain gets elected and you have an unwanted pregnancy! there will be no more legal abortions or birth control , if mc jerk and his moron stubborn mule of a woman vice president get in!!!!

Oh my, the coat hanger heebie jeebies... I am SO afraid!!! Oh Lord Obama, save me from de coat hangers!!

Listen, O clueless one; McCain gets in, and somehow, miraculously gets an anti-choice justice CONFIRMED by a Democrat majority Congress (yeah, right!) and guess what? Karma finally catches up with Scalia and Alito (for starters) and the US is watching STATE FUNERALS for Supreme Court justices on the plasma screen.

Is that a promise? No. Is it an accurate prediction? Of course.

The US is never going back to the days of coat hanger abortions. There are far too many ex-military women who have their guns who are plenty mad at Bush, Cheney, and Scalia who put them there and got many of their closest friends killed for nothing but to make the war bastards all richer in war contractor stock options.

Choice will never be repealed. McCain couldn't find replacement justices fast enough. Let alone get them through Congress.

Not to mention the fact that the GOP never wants to win that war against choice either, because it's their number one way of rallying fanatics.

Here's the deal; Hillary's women (and men) are FAR smarter and FAR tougher than you Obamabrains give them credit for.

And Scalia's got the blood of millions of innocents WHO HAD BEEN BORN on his hands. Oh, HE certainly doesn't think so, but God has other ideas.

One of my personal favorites? What goes around comes around.

Now let's starting thinking and not reacting. McCain has NOT already won. And McCain-Palin will do incredible damage to the our country not to mention the rights of women in this country. Yes Palin has a uterus. But she's wholly unqualified. McCain is a Republican-through and through. Not a Maverick in the most generous sense of the word.

I was a Hillary supporter because of her positions/policies and strength. I don't believe the majority of Hillary supporters will switch to McCain-Palin out of "anger"/disillusionment. This election is not about punishing Obama. And YES; Obama can win. In fact, he's ahead on polls that trackthe electoral college.

And let's consider this. As one person here said, a left-wing liberal has never won and Obama has enemies. MANY on the right see Hillary as a far left-wing liberal and wouldn't vote for her with God's endorsement. So here it is. If Obama loses this election, Hillary will NEVER be elected. Many, and not just African-Americans will blame her. Why? Because the right will make sure she's blamed. So if Obama loses, you're looking at 8 years of McCain-Palin and 8 years of Palin-Some African-American VP.

The Republicans are doing an excellent job of keeping this election focused on everything BUT the issues. If the issues are addressed, all will see how weak McCain-Palin are and how Obama-Biden are what WE, all Americans especially women and the middle class, need. And don't forget, the Supreme Court is at stake.

Finally...I'm not convinced this board isn't being managed by Republicans....True Hillary supporters are smarter and more savvy to try something this transparent...nice try but they won't bite...

I assure you that I am not Republican and I assure you I am a Hillary supporter that refuses to give the DNC any vote until it is for Hillary for President.

News flash: When all is said and done, more than 50% of HIllary voters will BOYCOTT Obama in one way or another.

And you keep up your lying claims about this board being run by the GOP and I WILL sell it to them so fast it would make your head spin.

It's obvious to anyone who comes here and reads the main page that I am NO fan of McCain-Palin altough I will absolutely be voting for them if Hillary is not reinstated.

Because Obama is far, far, FAR worse. Any man who would beat down a woman the way he did is an asshole who will NEVER, do you hear me, NEVER get my vote.

For ANY reason.

No Way! Post those links so I can go read about this.
I am under the impression that we have enough troops but that there needs to be reorganization and restructure of deployment to make better use of our enlisted Americans.
I guess I just do not "get" why we have to be spread so thin.
Why are we in so many countries? And why are our National Guard people overseas?
Aren't they suppose to be here in the USA to help on the homeland areas?
Maybe someone in the military can help this civilian out with some answers.

Go Hillary/McCain 2008!
